An Ecological Reconnaissance of Tetiaroa Atoll, Society Islands

Brief Description: At the request of Marlon Brando, two members of the Botany Department at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. visited Tetiaroa in order to catalog the ecology found on the atoll. They also offered their opinion on the ecological feasibility of development on the atoll and potential problems / issues that a developer would need to consider before undertaking such a project.
